How many jumpers will be made?
That depends on how successful the kickstarter is. Once the Kickstarter target is hit, all additional pledges will be honoured until the deadline on 29 September.
What sizes are available?
The following sizes are available, as separate pledges: XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL, XXXL
Each pledge specifies the dimensions of the jumper, so care must be taken to ensure the correct size is pledged. If you wish to receive more than one size, each pledge has other sizes available as add-ons.
How much will they cost?
Each reward tier includes one knitted jumper at £40 (plus shipping) with discounts available for Early Birds and additional jumpers added-on.
Will I be able to buy this jumper after the Kickstarter ends?
Unfortunately not. This jumper is exclusively available to Kickstarter pledgers: only those who pledge during the campaign period of 29 August 2024 to 29 September 2024 will receive a jumper as, after that date, production will begin (assuming the target is hit).
What if the target is not hit?
If we do not hit the target, sadly no jumpers will be made. Existing merchandise remains available.
Why are you producing this through Kickstarter?
To be frank, risk. Quires and Places is a one-man-band. This method ensures that where there is a demand, the jumper can be supplied. But, if no demand exists, no financial risk has been taken. We are confident that the demand exists, but prudence suggests this more reasonable route to production.
If it is successful, won't you just do this again next year?
Not exactly, no. The exclusivity of this jumper will remain exactly so. No more than those pledged during this campaign will be produced of this specific design.
Where will you ship?
We will be shipping to the UK, Europe mainland, US mainland, New Zealand, and Australia. Each comes with different shipping costs which are specified when you make a pledge.
How long will production take?
If the Kickstarter campaign ends successfully on 29 September, we will be sending the order to our producers, who will begin production. That process takes around six weeks from order to delivery to us. We will then be packaging and shipping them out in late November, ready to be received in early December, just in time for Christmas.
