Our series of Choral Animals continues with the delightful WILLIAM BIRD - just in time for Byrd's 400th anniversary. The moustache-like plumage and white-ring ruff neck are reminiscent of Byrd himself, and the tune he's whistling should be vaguely familiar as well...
This, along with Herbert Howls and Magnifi Cat, have been specially drawn by the Q&P designer's younger child, 17 at the time of writing, and studying art at A-level.
