Absolutely brilliant book.

For those who have sung in Cathedral choirs before, this is full of laugh out loud descriptions of life in a choir and all its weird idiosyncrasies. The accuracy is astonishing and the style of writing is easy as it is compelling - I read this in 2 days (well, 3, if we're counting days in the way of Jesus's resurrection!).

I recommend this book to anyone who has been in, or is currently, a Cathedral choir.

This is similarly recommended for anyone intrigued in the life of a Cathedral musician.

Tim, as ever, nails the narrative and peppers it with self-deprecating humour and genuine love for the work, life and curiosities of choirs. Highly recommended.

Haven’t gotten it yet!

This has to be the best book I’ve ever read! I haven’t been able to put it down ever since I got it. It’s funny, relatable, and has all the little quirks that only a choir member would know. It’s a great book to read in the sermons too!

Not only niche humour, but very handy when you're among probationers or new singers who don't know how to put their music in order for Choral Evensong!

As soon as I knew of this, I had to order it. Sometimes I have to explain what it means, but a few music friends got it.

I love my new sweatshirt. It is warm and thick and fluffy and has gotten an amazing number of comments (and anything that allows me to nerd out about Christmas and music is automatically a win!). The only thing I wish I could change is something common about tops with designs in general. As someone who wears a 3x, I wish the graphic got proportionally bigger with the size of the garment. I gifted this same item to a friend who wears a size large and the graphic appears to be the same size. This isn't uncommon, though, so no fault of the company--just me wishing for things to be different.
